Elderly Couple Become YouTube Sensations - Accidentally!

Bruce Huffman, 86, and his wife, Esther, 79, recently purchased their first laptop computer with a built-in webcam.
In a bid to get to grips with their new purchase, the couple from the Hillside Retirement Community in McMinnville, northwestern Oregon, sat down together and attempted to make a homemade video - something their granddaughter had attempted to teach Esther a few days earlier.
'I was trying to figure out how to do the videos and didn't know the thing was actually running,' Esther told The Huffington Post.
'All the while, Bruce was kind of amusing himself because he was bored. He was being quite an actor.'
The three-minute video, which has already had over 4million views on YouTube, captures Bruce imitating a monkey, inspecting the wrinkles on his face and at one point getting a little saucy with his wife.
'See how pretty your hair is?' he said. 'Just drop your dress a little bit and see your boobies.'
Esther, who was determined to master the art of video-making rejected his advance: 'Come on stop it. No, no, no,' she giggled.

After finding the pair's inadvertent recording, their granddaughter uploaded the video to YouTube and called it 'Web Cam 101 for Seniors'.

'I did not know anything about YouTube, but apparently it is spreading like wildfire,' said Esther.
While the couple are surprised by their video's popularity, they are certainly basking in their new-found stardom.
'We certainly didn't plan it, but there is so much bad news. We are glad we could put something fun out there. We like to have a good time and if it makes people laugh, that's ok,' Esther said.
Had Esther known the video was going to go viral, she says, she would have paid more attention to her appearance.

'I wouldn't have looked that way,' she said. 'I guess I have to quit chewing gum.
'I look like a cow chewing gum so quickly.'
Sadly the pair have no immediate plans to make a sequel.
'We're still trying to figure out how to work it. But we're having fun trying,' Bruce added.
